GreenCat’s Cat4Suite activities are being spun off with retrospective force (from 1 January 2013) in a management buy-out and will continue under the name ‘ixolution’. Cat4Suite comprises the ‘Cat4TransportOperator’ TMS and the ‘Cat4TerminalOperator’ and ‘Cat4RailOperator’ applications for intermodal inland management. The other GreenCat activities - the RoadRunner transport management system, which is particularly popular in the Netherlands, and Telematics - will remain part of the Groeneveld Group and will be combined into one decisive GreenCat organisation.

In line with her strategy to provide optimized intermodal transport solutions GreenCat is now complementing her integrated TMS and Terminal Operating System with full support for rail cargo operations. As such the new Cat4RailOperator supports the operational needs for companies transporting cargo through their own rail network with their own rail equipment.
The new solution will be launched during the Intermodal Europe 2012 trade fair from 27 to 29 November in Amsterdam RAI.
