STVA Group equips its fleet with TopIQ in-cab computers

GreenCat also supplies large quantities of in-cab computers in France, often a derivative version of the TopIQ. A large order from the STVA Group for more than 500 systems reinforces the international appreciation for this successful telematica product.

With 6 million vehicles per annum, the STVA Group – together with its partners – is Europe’s market leader in commercial and private vehicle storage and transport by road and rail. Virtually all its customers are large vehicle manufacturers and importers.

The management of the Paris-based company didn’t come to its decision to choose the TopIQ over night. The decision followed after an extensive screening and intensive pilot project. Thanks to its pan-European organisation, its broad expertise in ICT logistics, and its sound financial basis as part of the Groeneveld Group, GreenCat was placed on the shortlist.

In terms of technology, it appeared that TopIQ also fulfilled the high demands. All of the claimed production qualities were proven in the practical test. STVA were particularly impressed with the user-friendly touch screen, the reliable in-cab registration of driving periods, and the possibility to integrate this in-cab computer into the existing ERP systems.

The more than 500 in-cab computers primarily go out on the road in France, Belgium, and the UK. STVA’s objective for this investment has a solid ring to it: to control business assets and costs and to improve its customer service.
